Invoices API overview

The Amazon Business Invoices API provides programmatic access to periodic consolidation invoices for Amazon Business customers using Business Credit Account payment terms in Japan. This API helps enable you to search for invoices by date range, retrieve detailed billing summaries with tax amounts broken down by tax rate and by whether the seller has a JCT registration number, and access paginated line-item details including buyer information, purchase order numbers, and product classifications. The API supports automated reconciliation processes by providing comprehensive invoice data without requiring prior knowledge of order identifiers.

Benefits of Invoices API

Invoice API provides the following benefits for you and your business customers:

Invoice-first discovery

You can search and retrieve invoices by date range without needing specific order IDs or line-item identifiers, which simplifies the invoice discovery process for billing periods.

Tax reporting by issuer type

With Invoice API, you can access tax artifacts that separate purchases from sellers with a JCT registration number and sellers without one, with tax amounts broken down by tax rate for each category.

Comprehensive line-item detail

Retrieve detailed transaction information including buyer names and emails, buyer groups, shipping addresses, UNSPSC product codes, and custom business order fields such as GL codes and cost centers.

Automated reconciliation workflows
